Reuse Programs

Reuse is one of the 3 R's (reduce, reuse, recycle).  Reuse is a critical component of closing the loop and decreasing the amount of waste sent to the landfill for disposal.  Whether you choose to donate materials to one of the many resale shops or charitable organizations, hold a yard sale or purchase materials through one of these venues you are participating in Reuse.  There are many options for reuse in our community including the:

Habitat for Humanity Restore which accepts used or new building materials and  then resells them at their facility.  Proceeds benefit the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity.
