Drop-off

Each month Republic Waste sponsors the RecycleNOW receptacles for the recycling of materials, such as glass, tin, aluminum and newspapers, at five sites throughout the County. These bins give residents, without access to curbside recycling, an opportunity to divert a portion of their waste from being sent to the landfill.

RecycleNOW bins are located at the following locations on the designated days:

Kroger - 571 East Monroe St., Dundee  – 1st Tuesday of the month
St. Joseph Church – 2238 Manhattan Rd., Erie – 2nd Tuesday of the month
Meijer 1700 North Telegraph Rd., Monroe – 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month
Kroger - 3462 W. Sterns Rd. - 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month
Kroger - 850 South Monroe St., Monroe - 2nd Saturday of the month

The following items can be recycled at the RecycleNOW locations: types 1 and 2 plastic, glass, aluminum, tin and newspaper (Kroger Monroe and Lambertville only) and license plates. These sites only accept containers that held food, beverages, detergent or bleach.  Please note that these sites will not be open if the normal collection days occurs on any of the following Holidays: New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, July 4th, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
