WELCOME MONROE COUNTY!
Hosted by the Monroe County Environmental Health Division

For Educators and Students

Education is one of the most important tools we can use to reduce waste.  There are many resources on the internet about recycling and waste management, but a good place to start learning about these topics is here at Ecoville, where you can learn about what is being done in your own community.

It is also very important to teach others what you learn about waste management and recycling.  Follow the links in the Ecoville School for fun activities and games for both students and teachers.

Is there an environmental project at your school that you would like to implement, but don't have the necessary funds?  The Monroe County Environmental Grant Program may be able to help.  Click here for more information on the next round of grant applications and to see if your project is eligible.  Application are accepted each March and October 15th.
